Users of the anonymous web-forum ‘4chan’ might have guided a Russian missile at terrorists in Syria.
It all started when IvanSidorenko1, a Twitter user, saw a video captured by terrorists near the south of Aleppo, and decided to try locating the place. He could not do it on his own, so asked the ‘4chan’ anonymous internet-forum for assistance.
The ‘anonymous’ managed to locate the ‘address’ of the shooting and sent Ivan the coordinates. It’s not clear yet if it was a coincidence, but soon afterwards Russian bombers hit the located point.
Ivan’s feedback was met with ‘wows’ and raves. We learned this story from the above-mentioned exchange on ‘4chan’.
