“Crews of the frigate combat units in concert with the Su-24 as well as Mig-31 crews of the 45th Northern fleet  AF and AD army have accomplished air target detection and tracking tasks with radioelectronic and radar location weapons. They have also checked the ship’s maneuverability at various speeds”, — the Ministry notes.

The on-board weapon systems were previously tested in the White Sea. Seamen performed shooting with cruise missiles at sea and shore targets. They will keep on artillery shooting to test the ship’s armament in the near future.
