Tests of the new robot system have started in the Strategic Missile Forces.
The robot system is designed to conduct reconnaissance, to detect and kill stationary and mobile targets, to provide fire support of the units, to patrol and guard critical facilities within computer-assisted security systems. It can also conduct combat at nighttime with no giveaway signs.
The system can target the weapon, track and defeat targets in automatic and semi-automatic modes. It is equipped with optoelectronic and radar reconnaissance stations.
