Russian Defense Ministry reports that the first stage of joint exercise comprising Russian Airborne troops and Belorussian Special Task Force has started in the Ulyanovsk region.
To perform the assigned tasks at various operational directions two tactic battalion groups were put together.
Both groups were alerted and put on the highest levels of combat readiness. Belarussian Special Task Force along with the Russian paratroopers successfully conducted marching to the assigned region.
In the frame of the first stage, both groups are to deploy the joint command center, perform reconnaissance operations using the UAVs as well as to prepare for landing operations.
