Monarchs of the Middle East will be guests of the first day of aviation forum on 25 August 2015.
A source from defense industry reported the news to the “Lenta.ru”. The Middle East monarchs – King Salman of Saudi Arabia and Abdullah II of Jordan will visit the airshow along with Russian president Vladimir Putin.
Saudi Arabia earlier took interest in the Russian Iskander systems. Jordan used to purchase the IL-76MF strategic airlifters, anti-tank means, man-portable air-defense systems and helicopters.
The “MAKS-2015” International Aviation and Space Show is to take place on 25-30 August 2015 in near Moscow Zhukovskiy. The main aim of the show is to display Russian high-tech solutions and Russia’s openness for joint projects with foreign partners.
