‘Iskander-M’ to be equipped with a new missile

‘Iskander-M’ operational-tactical missile system will get a new aeroballistics missile.

Valeri Kashin, designer general of ‘Konstruktorskoye byuro mashinostroeniya’ told TASS that the missile had successfully passed intergovernmental tests in December.
 
‘Iskander-M’ might now be equipped with 5 types of aeroballistics missiles along with 1 cruise missile.

Meanwhile they keep on developing and advancing the missile system armament.
 
We remind that ‘Iskander-M’ system is designed to shoot within 500 km range such targets as missile systems, MLRS, long-range artillery, command and communication points as well as aircraft and helicopters at the airfields.
