The S-400 “Triumph”

The S-400 «Triumph» mobile multichannel air defense missile system is the well-known advanced S-300P system.

The system is designed for effective protection of political-administrative, economic and military objects from air attacks, cruise missiles, tactical and operational-tactical ballistic missiles as well as from mid-range ballistic missiles in combat and electronic warfare conditions.

The system can follow up to 300 targets and fire 36 of them at a time aiming two missiles at each target. The system can fire targets moving at a speed of 4800 mps. Detection range is up to 600 km. Aerodynamic targets kill range is up to 250 km (up to 400 km with the 40H6 advanced missiles). Ballistic targets kill range is up to 60 km.
