A US citizen has been detained for photoshooting military aviation at the Chkalovskiy airfield.
A RIA Novosti source reports that the American called Paul Filmer tried to take pictures of special purpose aviation in addition to pictures of combat aircraft.
In order to get information on aviation equipment moving, the detained person applied a radio scanner, which worked on the same frequency as flight control center.
It was reported as well that Russian special services had accused several British diplomats of trying to collect information on the Russian Aerospace Forces.
In early March, Carl Scott, British Air Attaché in Moscow and R.Coatalen-Hodjson, assistant to the British Naval Attaché visited ‘Mozdok’ airdrome without permission granted. They conducted surveillance on the Russian planes with photo and video equipment there.
