The bmpd military blog refers its foreign sources as saying that 10 thousand units of Kalashnikov will be transferred to the ministry of the interior of this Middle East country before the end of 2015.
The blog notes: “this sudden delivery means a U-turn in the field of equipment and armament, as the US has been actively supplying the M16/M4 assault rifles to security agencies of the country for the last few years now”.
Russia might also export up to 12 Mi-24/Mi-35 helicopters to Afghanistan in the next few years.
According to Russian General staff there are up to 50 thousand terrorists in Afghanistan now. Out of them all, there are 2 to 3 thousands of ISIS militants and the number tends to be growing.
