Vyacheslav Khalitov, deputy chief of the Uralvagonzavod on special-purpose equipment says that tests of the trial model two-section hauling truck for the Arctic forces have started in Russia.

Pilot model of the vehicle was displayed earlier at the Russian Arms Expo international exhibition in Nizhny Tagil. Khalitov notes that ‘Uralvagonzavod’ will develop a uniform platform for the Arctic to be the base for various types of vehicles.

We remind that Arctic brigades of the Russian Armed Forces were established to protect national interests in the region.
